WHITE64 in 64 Seconds
Breaking Work from Luray Caverns
Keeping a campaign fresh for 11 years isn’t easy. But when your “product” is millions of years old, you appreciate longevity. In Q2, we released new work for the “What Will You Discover?” campaign, highlighting otherworldly formations, the Great Stalacpipe Organ, and the acclaimed Car and Carriage Caravan Museum. Our ability to find new angles has lead to record attendance for five years running, while making Luray Caverns a top tourism destinations in Virginia.
WHITE64 named NOVA Chamber Marketing & Advertising Innovator of the Year
For the PenFed “Great Rates Across America” campaign, WHITE64 was named Marketing & Advertising Innovator of the Year by the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce. The ubiquitous campaign has helped PenFed exceed its new member goal by 129% to date. The honor was recognized by Virginia Senator Mark Warner in a congratulatory note to Matt White.
Honoring the Stories of our Military Heroes
For The PenFed Foundation’s annual Night of Heroes gala, we scripted, shot and produced the video introductions for the Night’s honorees. Among them was Claudia Avila, recipient of the Hero at Home Award. Her husband, Army Captain Luis Avila, was severely wounded in Afghanistan, and now she fights every day to support him and advocates for caregivers like herself. When the video finished, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
Welcoming Art Director Steve Gonzalez!
Steve was going to be a pro baseball player until injury left him sidelined. Luckily for us, he found his way into advertising, getting his masters from the VCU Brandcenter. Steve joined our team in June as an Art Director, having worked on brands like Major League Baseball, Capital One, and AICP with agencies like DDB, Wieden + Kennedy, and Ogilvy.
Chemistry is Essential2
We helped the American Chemistry Council release their first ever category-wide campaign. Essential2 spotlights the crucial role that chemistry plays in the economy, in health, in sustainability, and future innovation. We created the microsite and all accompanying content, including videos for social and interviews with stakeholders from member companies like Solvay, ExxonMobil, Covestro, and the American Chemistry Council itself.
As You’ve Never Seen Us Before
Weird. Wacky. Wonderful. These are the people that have helped shape our identiy over the last 53 years. For AdAge’s Small Agency Culture Awards, we prepared a video submission to help the judges get a sense of what it’s like once you step off the elevator and enter our world.
NOVA Chamber of Commerce Rebrand Awarded Industry Honor
In 2016, the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce re-chartered as the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce. We oversaw their brand overhaul to better reflect the organization’s influence over the region’s business community. The effort was recently awarded the grand prize for Communications Excellence by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE), and will be honored later this summer at a special event in Nashville, TN.
Social Video for Metro’s Back2Good
Earlier this year, we debuted the anthem film for Metro’s Back2Good reputational effort. The next step in the strategy was reinforcing specific things that Metro is improving as proof of this promise. Through a series of “snackable” :15 videos for social media and digital out of home, we showed riders the tangible improvements being made to their Metro experience.
Combating Gerrymandering, One Test at a Time
Nonprofit OneVirginia2021’s mission is changing the laws so that politicians can’t redraw districts to their own benefit. Getting voter information is crucial, so they asked us to help them find the most cost-efficient way to acquire new subscribers. We designed a whirlwind three week geo-targeted digital campaign that included audience segmentation testing, creative testing, and media mix testing in key counties. We reduced CPA by over 80% and provided a playbook of the highest preforming messaging by audience and most effective channels.
