Media Coordinator

THE ROLE. 

We’re looking for a smart, passionate and driven social media native. The Media Coordinator is responsible for supporting the agency’s media services for clients. This person will report to the VP of Media Strategy. The role is responsible for assisting across several accounts, works directly with the client and internal teams to research and analyze trends. We need an individual who can wear many hats: “an educator, leader and team player,” – as well as exercise both sides of their brain: creative & analytical.

 

THE REQUIREMENTS. 

  • Assist with strategy by completing audience research & insights
  • Complete competitive reviews
  • Keep track of trend analysis
  • Assist with updating/filing paperwork for clients and vendors
  • Post and analyze electronic invoices and reconciliations
  • Issue insertion orders
  • Manage media buys and accounting software
  • Help coordinate media vendor meetings and proposals
  • Be a liaison between the agency & the media community

 

EXPERIENCE? YES, PLEASE. 

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience preferably at an agency
  • Related degree (marketing, advertising, media, etc.)
  • Critical thinker with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented
  • A true task master
  • Well organized
  • Knowledge of Strata & Advantage software
