Senior Media Planner / Buyer

THE ROLE

We need a Senior Media Planner & Buyer who’s passionate about media and stoked to join our integrated paid media team. You’ll work alongside your media team to strategize on media plans, generate flowcharts, budget worksheets, and create competitive and analytical reports. You’ll also stay up-to-speed on media trends, platforms, and other innovations.

 

You will:

  • Identify and research target audiences and competitive landscapes for media analysis and strategic insight
  • Collaborate with media team members to develop smart, effective and efficient media plans that are fully integrated and channel agnostic
  • You’ll work with media vendors and other external partners to negotiate and execute media buys
  • You’ll stay current on media trends and emerging technologies
  • You’ll monitor and evaluate campaign performance, optimizing ROI
  • Working with the larger media team, you’ll develop media briefs, presentations and reports to share with clients and internal teams
  • You’ll collaborate with your internal teammates from account management, creative, digital and accounting to deliver effective campaigns to our clients
  • You’ll manage budgets for your media buys from planning to authorization to reconciliation

 

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • a love of advertising
  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • awesome organizational skills
  • solid interpersonal skills (be nice)
  • super strong written, verbal, analytical, and quantitative skills
  • track record of building integrated strategies for multi-channel campaigns
  • experience with MRI, IMS, SMRB, SRDS, SQAD, Strata, Scarborough, and comScore
  • Experience with SEM, display, programmatic and other digital channels
  • Experience with self-serve DSP is nice to have
