Account Executive

THE ROLE

We’re looking for an Account Executive to be the primary advocate for your clients within the agency. You’ll focus on building relationships, understanding business goals, and driving strategic outcomes—ensuring our work delivers impact. You’ll collaborate with creative, media, tech, and production teams to guide projects and campaigns, but your focus is on the client and the results we help them achieve. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Serve as the main liaison for clients, building strong, trusted relationships across all levels of the organization. 
  • Understand clients’ business objectives, growth goals, and challenges, translating them into actionable agency strategies. 
  • Support strategic planning initiatives, including audience research, competitive analysis, campaign planning, and briefing creative teams. 
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and internal teams to ensure work is executed effectively, maintaining accountability for deliverables, timelines, and budgets without managing the day-to-day project logistics. 
  • Partner with finance, media, and production teams to understand budgets and invoicing; maintain oversight of account health and resource allocation. 
  • Contribute to new business efforts by supporting research, ideation, and proposal development when needed. 
  • Represent the agency externally with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a solutions-oriented approach. 

EXPERIENCE? YES, PLEASE.

  • 3+ years of experience in a client-facing role within a fast-paced agency or marketing environment. 
  • Strong knowledge of marketing and advertising principles, with the ability to think strategically and offer actionable insights. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present confidently to clients and internal teams. 
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple client priorities simultaneously. 
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and a positive attitude. 
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to identify opportunities for client growth. 
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Basecamp, etc.) is a plus. 
  • A sense of humor and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, creative environment.
