Tysons, VA – June 1, 2024 – WHITE64, a leading creative agency, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mick Sutter as Chief Creative Officer (CCO). Mick will join the Executive Leadership Team alongside Kerry Beutel, President, who assumed leadership upon Matt White’s retirement in 2023, and Nate Whittington, CFO/COO. As CCO, Mick will drive the agency’s creative and strategic vision, foster integration across creative disciplines, and spearhead innovation and growth initiatives.

An acclaimed writer and creative director, Mick’s work has been recognized by the One Show, Clios, ADC, Communication Arts, Webbys, Shortys and Cannes Festival of Creativity, where he was also a featured speaker. He comes to WHITE64 from SimpsonScarborough where he was VP/ECD of Creative & Digital, overseeing campaign, identity and experience design for the higher ed-focused agency’s broad book of clients.

The appointment is a reunion of sorts, marking the third professional collaboration between Mick and Kerry. Their formative partnership occurred early in their careers at Arnold Worldwide, where Mick crafted award-winning work for travel, hospitality, restaurant and financial clients like Hyatt, Choice Hotels, the Islands of the Bahamas, Amtrak, Colonial Williamsburg, McDonald’s, and Fidelity. The two went on to executive leadership positions at DMI / Pappas Group where Mick bootstrapped the firm’s campaign and content offerings for brands like Hilton, Volkswagen, Identity Guard and Neustar.

As their paths diverged, Mick went on to Huge, helping build a regional integrated marketing practice for the design and innovation agency. As Executive Creative Director, Southeast, his teams created branded content, social media, experiential and campaign work for clients like Lyft, TikTok, Brooks Running, Pfizer, The Home Depot, and the Department of Education.
