BACKGROUND
Bozzuto and Jair Lynch decided to renovate the historic Meridian Hill Hotel into a premium modern apartment complex. The selected name, Âme, is the French word for “soul,” emphasizing the building’s history, French architecture, and palpable charm. The messaging was grounded in the promise of “A New Perspective,” which spoke not only to the historic building’s evolution and dramatic renovation but also to its future residents as they search for a neighborhood to call home all while experiencing a new outlook.
