BACKGROUND
The pandemic forced an immediate shift from in-person to virtual events, sending many associations and educational organizations into a scramble. But the American Association of Veterinary Medical Colleges (AAVMC) was able to transition their flagship international event — Catalyze — without missing a beat, thanks to a custom web-based event platform that was both immersive and intuitive.

RESULTS
Through the event platform, Catalyze 2021 and 2022 delivered real value and attendee engagement. The success of the all-virtual event in 2021 led half of attendees to choose to attend remotely during the hybrid 2022 event.
