BACKGROUND
Hilton employees can earn a 5% commission for referring groups to Hilton properties via the Scout program. All they have to do is listen for group opportunities, confirm their interest in a Hilton property and submit the lead online. If the group books, they get some serious cash. Unfortunately, while employees knew about the program, many felt the reward wouldn’t be realized.
